Join us for an evening of inspiration, connection, and hope as we mark this significant milestone together.
Firstly, Dr Daniel Cornfeld will discuss the research being jointly funded by the Trust and the JN Williams Family Trust. Our contribution will be the largest single grant we have made to date. Based at the Mātai Medical Research Institute, Dan and his colleagues have developed Ultra High Contrast MRI which we hope will aid the diagnosis of MS. There will be the opportunity for qualified people with MS to be enrolled in the trial as part of their ongoing clinical treatment.
Dr Benson Chen in addition to being a senior research fellow at the University of Auckland, is also a Neurologist at Auckland Hospital with a special interest in MS and diseases of the optic nerve. He will speak on: “What’s in a Name? An Eye on MS, MOGAD and NMOSD“.
An expert panel will follow and share their perspective and answer your questions on this innovative research being performed right here in New Zealand and supported by NZMSRT. Whether you’re living with MS, caring for a loved one, or simply wanting to learn more, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
As we mark this significant milestone, we are grateful for the support of our donors, partners, and the MS community, and we look forward to many more years of making a positive impact on the lives of those affected by this debilitating disease.
It is important that you register now to be part of this celebration. Space is limited and numbers are required for catering and seating. There is no cost but a donation to cover the costs of the evening and to further our research would be appreciated. We are grateful of your ongoing support throughout the years.
We hope you can join us for a glass of bubbles to celebrate 10years since the Trust was established.
